The full-throated crowds are seriously into the action, especially if things are tight late in the game.

NBA 2K9 has a better player model than the NBA live 09. NBA arenas are more alive than ever, sporting vibrant visuals and a dazzling array of nuances that impress more with each game. The NBA LIVE 09 is slow while the NBA 2K9 is fast. Gameplay is smooth as butter, too, rarely suffering from any serious “huh?” moments and more often than not delivering realistic animations, situational responses, and a significant challenge to all comers. A lot has changed in the series’ transition across generations, with the familiarity of the MyPlayer Builder now a thing of the past with a more refined and complex system in place.

Shot styles, free throws, and post-up moves are simply awesome. NBA 2K22 sees the famed basketball series return to the next generation of gaming consoles, hitting Xbox Series X and PS5 with a flurry of excitement and hype. The patch for NBA 2K9 will be available for the PS3 early Wednesday morning and should follow for the 360 in the near future.
